Bill (“Whisperin’ Bill) Anderson is a country music legend: he sang 80 charting singles, discovered Connie Smith, and toured with Johnny Cash. He wrote songs which were recorded by artists like James Brown, Dean Martin, Jerry Lee Lewis, and Aretha Franklin. He’s been nominated for Grammy awards, won two song of the year prizes, and is an inductee to the Country Music Hall of Fame.
Rachel Woodall and Tim Apuli sit down with the unprecedented country music legend to discuss his upcoming book, his eclectic (and successful) career, his writing process, and more.
