The Chicago Police Board named three finalists for the job of police superintendent, and City Council’s Latino Caucus called the short list an “insult.” Eleven Aldermen voted against the Mayor’s plan to increase the smoking age to 21, in addition to setting price floors and raising taxes on cigars, cigarillos, dip, and loose tobacco.
