Chicago’s own Chef Art Smith helped fight for marriage equality in Florida, and with the ban just lifted he and 101 couples made up for lost time in a big way. Art joins Dane Neal of Flavor HD at “101 Gay Weddings” in Miami as part the 2015 South Beach Wine and Food Fest. Food Network friends mobilized for this history making occasion with Guy Fieri officiating the service and Chef Duff Goldman providing an incredible Art Deco themed cake. Add in inspirational words from “Chopped” host Ted Allen and you had an unforgettable event bringing people together at the beach for love and lifetimes.
